Welcome to March! There will be no discussions this week! Larry will post a document instead of holding a discussion.

This Week:

  • The Hesse shop staff requires EVERYONE to sign the safety forms on Gradescope!

On this week’s labs:

  • Lab 2 is due this week, one minute before your physical lab times (Ed)
    • Reminder to write your lab reports on Latex! Here is a lab report example that you could use.
  • Pre-lab for Lab 3 is due next Tusday (2/24) at 7:59 am on Gradescope. (Ed Announcement)
    • NO LAB THIS WEEK!! Lab 3 will happen next week during normal lab times.
    • Going forward, the lab template for the Prelab and Lsab 3 will be different from the previous lab templates used. Please make sure to use the new lab template for Lab 3 and lab 4!

Week 3 - Experimental Design and Non-Parametric Statistics!

This week in lab, we will be touring some Hesse equipments to see what you can use and how you can use the equipments for your final project!

    • NOTE: Q3 is graded for completion, and Q8 is extra credit that is added to this homework

Week 2 - Probability and Hypothesis Testing!

  • Homework 0 has been extended to Wednesday 01/28. Homework 1 will be released on Tuesday and due 2/9.

Week 1 - Welcome to ME103!

We’re extremely excited to have you! It’s going to be a great semester. We’ve spent a lot of time revamping the content, and we hope you will gain a lot out of this advanced mechanical engineering course.

This week:

  • Make sure to read the welcome announcement on Ed and the Policies page!
  • Lectures begin! 2-3:00pm on Monday/Wednesday in Hearst Field Annex A1.
  • Homework 0 released (due 1/26)
  • Labs, discussion begin next week!
  • Larry and Dalil will have OH in Hesse 50B at 9:00 AM Friday!
